わたしは現在、90日間連続で一日3記事、ブログを書いています。
なにをするにしても慣れが必要ですが、本当に毎日、ネタに困りました。
テーマも決めていなかったので、というか決められなかったので、どうしよう？ と毎日パソコンの前でもんもんとしていました。
壁にぶつかると、人はいろいろなことを考えますし、人の言葉が頭に浮かんできます。
「ゲゲゲの鬼太郎」の漫画家・水木しげるさんは、「しないではいられないことをし続けなさい」と、幸福の七か条の一つにあげています。
これが見つかっている人は、幸せですし、ブログのネタにも困らなそうです。
水木しげるさんは40歳でブレイクしましたが、一時期、人気が落ちたことがありました。そこで落ち込むことはなく、大好きな「妖怪」についての辞典を作ったりしました。後にその「妖怪辞典」も大きな稼ぎ頭となるのです。
また、懇意にしていた書店経営者から聞いたエピソードも思い出しました。
何店舗も経営している方でしたが、いい年になってきたので、一店舗を店長に譲渡したのです。
出版業界も20年以上マイナスが続いているので、書店にとって厳しい環境です。ご多分に漏れず、譲渡した店舗も売り上げは減り続けていました。
ところが、譲渡した途端、売り上げが対前年110％となったのです。出版業界ではありえないことです。
田舎町の書店なので、なにか大きなキャンペーンをやったとかではありません。本は定価販売しかできないので、割引セールもしていません。その店長も格別、優秀というわけではなかったと、経営者の方が言っています。
ただ、自分がオーナーのお店になったということで、やる気が依然とはまったく変わったのです。
これをブログにあてはめると、いかに「自分事」として考えてブログを書くことが重要ということです。
自分事にしないと、人間はつづけることはできません。
ブログはまず、副業で始める人が圧倒的に多いです。そして数年後には本業にして会社を辞めたいという気持ちをもっているでしょう。
・将来への不安
・会社への怒り
・上司への恨み
・自分の選択への後悔
・未来への希望
・こうなりたいという願望
これらの気持ちがきっかけで、ブログを始める人が多いです。
きっかけとしてはいいのですが、怒りや希望は続きません。人間は現状に満足してしまうからです。
それに、他人のせいにするという性質もあります。私の場合、夜の12時を過ぎていてもパソコンでブログを書いていると、「早く寝なさい」という嫁ブロックがはいります笑
嫁ブロックがあるから「今日はもう書かない」となると、完全に書かない理由を他人のせいにしてしまっています。
「現状に満足」し「他人のせい」にしてしまう人間の気持ち、これはしょうがないことです。この気持ちを精神で乗り越えるのは並大抵ではありません。
ただ、「好き」なことを「自分事」にすれば、続けることができます。
漫画の天才・手塚治虫さんは、半蔵門病院のベッドで亡くなる寸前まで「漫画を描かせてくれ」と言っていました。自分の命が短いとわかっていても、見舞いに来た編集者に「仕事をください」と懇願しました。
いま私のこの文章はここまでで約1,300文字です。
ブログの内容に、自分の「好き」な漫画家のエピソードを入れることによって楽しく書けています。
ブログをどうやったら継続できるか？ という内容と漫画家の人生、一見、まったく関係ないように思えますが、つなげることができるのです。
「好きこそものの上手なれ」といいますが、これは本当ですね。昔の人はいいことをいいます。
「自分事」にするには、お金を少しずつでいいので、稼ぐ必要があります。
ブログなのでGoogle AdSenseの広告収入、アフィリエイト、noteの有料販売などがあります。
私は100記事以上書いてGoogle AdSenseの収入が毎日40円ぐらいでへこみそうですが、アフィリエイトはAmazonのAudibleというオーディオブックの紹介記事を何本も書いて、3,000円の収入が数日おきに入ってきます。
noteにも記事を書いていますが、思い切って一つの記事を有料にして100円の値段をつけたら、この前はじめて売れました。100円ですが、とても嬉しいです！
お金が入ってくると、ブログを書くということが、一気に「自分事」になります。
「好き」なことを書いて、お金を稼いで「自分事」にする。
