応募する側からすると、名前の知れた出版社ならどこでもいい、という気持ちがあるでしょう。
そんな人は、志望理由を2つ、用意してください。
１、誰もが思いつく志望理由
２、思い切った志望理由
です。
例えば講談社の志望理由を考える時です。
１は、あなたが好きな雑誌にかかわりたいという理由でいいです。
２は、他の応募者が絶対にあげないような「本」が好き、ということを面接官に伝えましょう。
面接で重要なのは、面接官と会話がはずむことです。
例えば「少年マガジン」や「with」の編集をやりたいという応募者は、いくらでもいます。
面接官もうんざりなのです。
どんな会話になるかも、想像がついてしまい、つまらないと思ってしまいます。
そこで、他の応募者が志望理由としてあげないような本を言えば、なになに？ と興味を持って話をしてくれるのです。
たとえば私なら、トキワ荘にまつわる本を手当たり次第に読んでいます。
Amazonで「講談社 トキワ荘」と検索すると、2冊出てきます。
この本を読んでいる人はあまりいないでしょう。
面接官も読んでいないと思います。
あなたを印象づけることができるのは、間違いありません。
